Banquet Money Due This Wednesday
Please get your registration form and money for the banquet in to Mrs. Spaight or Coach Tippett by this Wednesday. The banquet is a time to recognize the Creekview basketball program and all of its participants in a positive way, so please show your support by attending.

Spring League Changed to Plano Senior High
The JV and Varsity will now compete in the Plano Senior High Spring League instead of Denton Guyer. The league will be on Monday and Wednesday nights starting on April 10th. The cost is still $35 per athlete. Money is due no later than April 8th. Definite schedules will be given out when they are received.

All-District Honors
The Creekview Boys' basketball team had multiple selections on the District 10-4A All-District Team. Seniors Alex Rincon and Ian Spaight were both named to the 2nd Team. Larry Hughes was named the Sophomore of the Year in the district. In addition, Desmond Funches, Larry Hughes, Johnny Jones, and Will Romaine were named to the Academic All-District Team. Way to go Mustangs!!

Basketball Banquet April 7th
The Boys' Basketball Banquet will be held at Indian Creek Golf Club on Sunday, April 7th at 6:30 pm. All basketball players are encouraged to attend. There is a $10 charge for students and a $20 charge for adults. All players received an invitation, and there is also a link on the basketball main webpage. Please have money and reservations turned in by Wednesday, March 27th.

Creekview Results vs. Newman Smith
The Creekview Boys’ Basketball team finished the season with a 74-59 loss at home vs. Newman Smith. Leading the Mustangs in scoring was Alex Rincon with 17 points, Ali Zia with 16, and Ian Spaight with 15. Creekview finished the year with a 12-20 overall record and 4-10 in district.
The JV finished the year with a 48-38 loss. Peter Moseti led the JV in scoring with 14 points. The JV’s overall record was 12-13 and 6-8 in district.
The freshman basketball team ended the season with a 58-33 win. Keimone Davis had 13 points and Jarmez Zuber had 10 to lead the Mustangs. The freshman ended the year with a 14-9 overall record and 10-4 in district.
The Creekview coaching staff would like to thank all players for their hard work this year and especially the seniors for their four years of commitment to the program.

Creekview Results vs. West Mesquite
The Creekview Mustangs varsity basketball team played a district ball game at West Mesquite this evening. The Mustangs battled with the Longhorns all night long but came out on the short end of a 71-59 defeat. Leading Creekview in scoring was Ranjit Mason with 19 points and Alex Rincon with 14. The varsity overall record is 12-19 and 4-9 in district.
In the JV game, Creekview lost by a score of 48-43. The Mustangs were led in scoring by Peter Moseti with 14 points and Eddie Cecena with 15 points. This brings the Mustangs to 12-12 overall and 6-7 in district play.
The freshmen beat West Mesquite by a score of 53-39. Brendan Arnold scored 20 points and Keimone Davis scored 12 points to lead the Mustangs. The freshman record is now 13-9 overall and 9-4 in district. All three teams conclude the season Tuesday night at home vs. Newman Smith. This is also Senior Night for the varsity team honoring the six seniors on the team.

Creekview Results at North Forney
The Creekview Mustang Boys’ basketball teams played at North Forney tonight in a district contest. It was a tough night for the varsity as North Forney pulled away in the 4th quarter for a 58-45 win. Alex Rincon led the Mustangs in scoring with 19 points. The varsity is now 12-18 overall and 4-8 in district.
The JV Mustangs won vs. North Forney 54-51. The Mustangs where led by Peter Moseti and Eddie Cecena with 14 points each and Zuri Davis with 13. The JV is now 12-11 overall and 6-6 in district play.
In the freshman game, North Forney won 50-37. Keimone Davis led the freshman team with 10 points. Their record is now 12-9 overall and 8-4 in district. All three teams play the final road game of the year this Friday at West Mesquite.
