Creekview Ends Season with Valiant Effort

The Creekview varsity boys’ basketball team ended their season with an extremely hard fought 66-62 defeat at the hands of West Mesquite, the 9th ranked team in the state in the Bi-District round of the 5A State Playoffs.  Leading scorer for the Mustangs was Augustine Ene with 34 points. Ben Long scored 9 and Nate Bady had 8. Creekview ended the year with a third consecutive playoff appearance for the first time in school history and a 17-12 overall record.

Creekview Results vs. Hillcrest

The Creekview Varsity Boys’ basketball team concluded the regular season with a 45-35 loss to Hillcrest. Leading scorer was Keimone Davis with 13 points. The varsity record is now 17-11 overall and 10-4 in district. The Mustangs will play in the first round of the 5A Playoffs next Monday or Tuesday against an opponent and venue yet to be determined.
                The JV Mustangs ended their season with a loss to Hillcrest 41-30, finishing the season with a 8-17 record overall and 6-7 district record.  The outstanding players were Bill Diop, Jaelen Boisseau, Rocky Fraid and D’Emrik Bradford-Thomas. 

                The freshman Mustangs finished their season off with a win by a score of 45-28 over Hillcrest. The leading scorers were Camron Burnett with 9 points and Tony Owens with 7 . The freshman Mustangs finish the season 15-10 overall and 12-2 in the district.

Creekview Beats Conrad

The Creekview varsity boys’ basketball team defeated Conrad tonight by a score of 39-33. Leading scorer was Micaiah Livingston with 10 points. Augustine Ene scored 9. The win improves the varsity overall record to 17-10 and 10-3 in district play.
                The JV Mustangs lost to Conrad 44-40. Their district record is now 6-6 and 8-16 overall.  The outstanding players tonight were Bill Diop, Marquell Phillips, and Jonathan Arce.

                The freshman Mustangs won tonight by a score of 40-36 over  Conrad. The leading scorer was Camron Burnett with 10 points. The freshman are  15-10 overall and 11-2 in the district. All three teams will conclude the regular season on Tuesday against Hillcrest at Loos Field House.

Creekview Loses to Smith in Overtime

The Creekview Mustang Boys’ basketball team played another classic game against Newman Smith, but fell short in overtime by a score of 54-48. Leading scorers were Augustine Ene with 11 points, Micaiah Livingston with 10, and Nate Bady with 9. The varsity record is now 16-10 overall and 9-3 in district play.
                JV Mustangs avenges their loss from the first meeting against Smith, winning 37 -29.  The JV Mustangs continue to be a second half team, only allowing 12 total points and scoring 21 in the process.  The outstanding players were Bill Diop, Marquell Phillips and Jonathan Campbell.  The JV is now 6 -5 in district play and 8-15 overall. 

                The freshman Mustangs lost  tonight by a score of 47-31 to Smith. The leading scorer was Luke McPherson with 12 points.  The Freshman Mustangs are  14-10 overall and 10-2 in the district.

Creekview Beats Woodrow Wilson!

The Creekview Mustang boys varsity basketball team avenged an earlier district loss to Woodrow Wilson with a resounding 64-41 win tonight. Leading scorers were Micaiah Livingston with 16 points, Augustine Ene with 14, Tre Kidd and Keimone Davis both with 12, and Nate Bady with 8. The win improves the varsity overall record to 16-9 and 9-2 in district.
                The JV Mustangs lost to Woodrow Wilson 45-33. Outstanding players were Jaeden Boisseau, Bill Diop, and Rocky Fraid.  The JV is now 5-5 in district play and 7-15 overall. 

                The freshman Mustangs defeated Woodrow Wilson tonight by a score of 24-18. The leading scorer was Camron Burnett with 7points. The Freshman Mustangs are  14-9 overall and 10-1 in the district. All three teams play at home on Senior Night versus Newman Smith Tuesday.
