The Creekview Varsity Boys’ basketball team opened the
season Tuesday night with a dominating 66-40 win at Little Elm. The
short-handed Mustangs, playing with only 8 players, blew open the game in the 2nd
quarter and cruised to the victory. Leading scorers were Will Romaine with 22
points, DeAndre Abram with 19, and Destin Ogueri with 13.
In the
JV game, Creekview opened the season with a 56-48 win. Leading scorers were
Augustine Ene and Adrian Munoz with 19 points each. Aly Shah Punjani added 12.
The
freshman Mustangs played their hearts out, but came out on the losing end by a
score of 47-39. Leading the way in scoring was Aaron Davis with 12 points. All
three Creekview teams open the home season Tuesday, November 19th
against The Colony.
