Mustangs Advance to the State Playoffs!

The Creekview Mustangs Boys’ Basketball team advanced to the state playoffs by defeating North Forney in a play-in game by the score of 60-50. It was a close game throughout, but the Mustangs showed heart in the 4^th quarter and pulled away for the win. Leading scorer for Creekview was Desmond Funches with 21 points. DeAndre Abram also scored in double figures with 12. Creekview’s record now improves to 13-14 for the season. The Mustangs advance to play the district 9-4A champion Frisco Heritage Coyotes in a bi-district playoff game. The game will be at Little Elm High School on Tuesday, February 18^th at 7:30.
