The Creekview Mustangs Varsity boys basketball team survived
an intense, physical game and defeated Wylie 62-57. Scoring in double digits
for the Mustangs were Tre Kidd with 28 points, Micaiah Livingston with 11, and
Augustine Ene with 10. The varsity record improves to 3-2 on the year.
In the JV game, the Mustangs lost a heart-breaker by a score of 47-46. Leading
scorers were Johnathan Arce with 20 points and Tyriek Rivers with 11. The JV
record falls to 2-3.
The freshman Mustangs fell to an outstanding Wylie freshman team 47-19
and are now 2-3 on the year. The freshmen were led in scoring by Darrick Dillon
with 5 points.
The varsity will compete in the CFB Classic Tournament starting Thursday at
8:00 at Creekview against Irving. The JV will compete in the Prosper Tournament
starting on Thursday.
