Creekview's Season Ends in the Regional Quarterfinals
The Creekview varsity boys basketball team put up an
unbelievable effort but fell short in the Regional Quarterfinals to a very good
West Mesquite team by a score of 75-68. Leading the Mustangs in scoring was
Augustine Ene with 20 points. Also scoring in double figures were Nate Bady
with 15, Ben Long with 14, and Zavier Ramirez with 12. The coaching staff is
extremely proud of this group of young men and thankful to the 8 seniors for
their 4 years of dedication, commitment, and hard work. They are truly Mustangs
for life!

Creekview is Area Champs!!!
The Creekview varsity boys basketball team battled back in
the 4th quarter, sent the game to overtime on a 3-pointer by Dorian
Stratford with 7 seconds left in regulation, and went on to beat an extremely
good Sulphur Springs team 67-64 tonight in an Area Round Playoff game. The win
sends the Mustangs to the Regional Quarter-Finals against West Mesquite Tuesday
at a time and place to be determined. Leading the Mustangs in scoring was
Augustine Ene with 21 points. Also scoring in double figures were Ben Long with
15, Nate Bady with 14, and Stratford with 13. This is the first time in 15
years that a Mustang basketball team has advanced this far. GO MUSTANGS!!
Area Round Game Tonight!
After clinching a Bi-District Championship Tuesday night with a 68-53 win over Frisco Lone Star, the Mustangs will take on Sulphur Springs tonight in an Area Round game at 7:00 at Rockwall High School. GO MUSTANGS!!!

Creekview Beats The Colony to Advance to the Playoffs!!
The Creekview varsity boys basketball team beat
The Colony in a District 14-5A Play-In game to advance to the playoffs for the
4th consecutive year. Leading the Mustangs in scoring was Augustine
Ene with 23 points. Also scoring in double figures were Ben Long with 12 points
and Nate Bady with 10. Creekview advances to the Bi-District Playoffs on
Tuesday against Frisco Lone Star at a site and time to be determined.

Creekview Loses to McKinney North
The Creekview varsity boys basketball team got down early to
McKinney North, but fought back to make it a close game down the stretch.
However, the mountain was too high to climb as the Mustangs lost 75-69. Leading
scorer was Augustine Ene with 23 points. Nate Bady and Dorian Stratford each scored 11
points. Despite the loss, with The Colony’s loss to Little Elm, the varsity
will have a one game play-in game on Friday to determine the final playoff spot
in district 14-5A. The game will be against The Colony at Hebron at a time to
be determined.
The
JV boys lost a tough game against McKinney North by a score of 52-50. Top
performers for Creekview were Ali Kabani with 18 points and Luke McPherson with
16. The JV ends their season with a record of 9-13 overall and 4-9 in district.
The
freshman Mustangs lost tonight to McKinney North 57-51. The freshmen were led
by Renzo Benitez with 15 points and Taylor Everett with 13 points. The freshmen
finish the season 14-8 overall and 9-5 in district play.

Creekview Sweeps RL Turner
The Creekview varsity boys basketball team won at RL Turner
tonight 80-57. Leading the team in scoring was Augustine Ene with 21 points.
Also scoring in double figures were Zavier Ramirez with 14 points and Nate Bady
and Dorian Stratford with 13 each. The win improves the varsity overall record
to 16-14 and 7-6 in district play.
The
Creekview JV beat RL Turner in overtime by a score of 69-66. Top performers for
Creekview were Bo'Mari Bell with 22 points, Ali Kabani with 15, and Malcolm
Bell and Luke McPherson both chipped in 9 points each. With this win, the JV
record improves to 9-12 overall and 4-7 in district.
The
freshman Mustangs won tonight over RL Turner 52-15. The freshmen were led by
Brett Esch with 12 points and Rickey Crochett with 10 points. The freshmen
are 13-7 overall and 7-5 in district. All three teams end the regular season with
Senior Night on Tuesday at home vs. McKinney North.

Creekview Loses to Prosper
The Creekview varsity boys basketball team fought back from
a 20 point deficit only to lose to Prosper 69-64. Leading scorers for the
Mustangs were Augustine Ene with 20 points, Dorian Stratford with 18, and Nate
Bady with 14. The varsity record is now 15-13 overall and 6-5 in district play.
The
Creekview JV lost to Prosper 61-50. Top performers for the JV were Ali Kabani
with 11, Jabari Johnson with 11, and Tony Owens with 10. This loss drops the JV
record to 8-12 overall and 3-7 in district.
The
freshman Mustangs won tonight over Prosper 52-44. The freshmen were led by
Christian Gonzalez with 16 points. Taylor Everett scored 11, and
Marcus Gilder chipped in 10 points in the victory. The freshmen are
12-6 overall and 6-4 in district. All three teams play at Newman Smith Tuesday
night.

Creekview Goes on the Road and Defeats Lake Dallas
The Creekview varsity boys basketball team went on the road
to Lake Dallas and came away with a 56-37 victory. The win was spurred on by a
21-0 2nd quarter by the Mustangs. Leading the varsity in scoring was
Nate Bady with 13 points. Augustine Ene contributed 11 points, while Zavier
Ramirez, Dorian Stratford, and Brailon Cook added 8 points each. The win
improves the varsity record to 15-12 overall and 6-4 in district play.
The
JV basketball team lost to Lake Dallas 61-40. Top performers for the JV were
Tony Owens, Bo'Mari Bell and Luke McPherson. This loss dropped the JV record to
8-11 overall and 3-6 in district.
The
freshman Mustangs defeated Lake Dallas 55-31. The freshmen were led by
Taylor Everett with 15 points and Keshawn Brown with 11. The freshmen are
now 11-6 overall and 5-4 in district. All three teams play at home on Friday versus
Prosper.

Creekview Loses Heart-breaker to Little Elm
The Creekview Varsity Boys basketball team put up a valiant effort at home
against Little Elm, the #3 ranked team in the state, but lost a heart-breaker
55-54. Leading the Mustangs in scoring was Augustine Ene with 15 points. Zavier
Ramirez also scored in double figures with 13 while both Ben Long and Nate Bady
scored 9. The loss drops the varsity overall record to 14-12 and 5-4 in
district play.

straight game tonight against The Colony at home by a score of 49-44. Dorian
Stratford scored 11 points to lead the Mustangs in scoring. Also scoring in
double figures were Nate Bady and Augustine Ene with 10 each. The varsity
overall record is now 14-11 and 5-3 in district.
The JV
boys lost to The Colony 70-59. Bo'Mari Bell led the JV in scoring with 17
points and Tony Owens scored 15. The JV
overall record is now 7-10 and 2-5 in district play.

Taylor Everett with 10 points . The freshmen are 10-5 overall and 4-3 in

Creekview Gets Big Win on the Road Against McKinney North
The Creekview varsity boys basketball team went on the road
and defeated McKinney North, the 13th ranked 5A team in the state
tonight 62-60. Ben Long made a 3 pointer with 1 second left to give the
Mustangs the victory. Long led all Mustang scorers with 16 points. Also scoring
in double figures were Nate Bady and Augustine Ene with 12 points each and
Zavier Ramirez with 10. The win improves the varsity record to 13-11 overall
and 4-3 in district play.
The JV
basketball team lost to McKinney North 72-52. Top performers were Tony Owens
and Camron Burnett. This loss dropped their record to 2-4 in district and 7-9
overall.
The
freshman Mustangs defeated McKinney North 53-52 tonight. The freshmen
were led by Marcus Gilder with 17points, Keshawn Brown with 13 points, and Brett Esch with 10. The freshmen are 9-5
overall and 3-3 in district. All three teams begin the second round of district
at home on Tuesday against The Colony.

The Creekview varsity boys basketball team came out strong
and put on a dominating performance at home, defeating cross-town rival Newman
Smith by a score of 82-33. Scoring in double digits were Brailon Cook with 17
points, Zavier Ramirez with 16, Ben Long with 16, and Nate Bady with 11. The
win improves the varsity record to 11-10 overall and 2-3 in district play.
The JV Mustangs beat Newman Smith tonight 39-36 in a closely contested contest.
Top performers were BoMari Bell with 11 points and Tony Owens with 12. The JV
overall record improves to 6-8 and 1-3 in district.
In a back and forth freshman game, the freshman Mustangs fell to Newman Smith
48-43. The freshmen were led by Brett Esch with 10 points and Taylor
Everett with 10. The freshmen are 7-5 overall and 1-3 in district. All three
teams host RL Turner Tuesday night.

The Creekview Varsity Boys’ basketball team went on the road
this evening and came up short to Prosper by a score of 69-56. Leading scorers
were Nate Bady with 15 points and Zavier Ramirez with 12. The Varsity record is
now 10-11 overall and 1-3 in district play.

JV Mustangs lost a close one to Prosper 44-45. Standout players were Tony Owens
with 15 points and Bo’Mari Bell with 12. The JV overall record falls to 5-8
overall and 0-3 in district.
The Creekview
freshmen team lost to Prosper 52-44. The freshmen were led by Marcus Gilder
with 17 points and Christian Gonzalez with 8. The freshmen are 7-4 overall and 1-2 in
district. All three teams play at home Friday night here against Newman Smith
in the annual Coaches vs. Cancer game.

The Creekview Varsity Boys’ basketball team beat Lake Dallas
at home tonight by a score of 63-51. Double figure scorers were Nate Bady with
21, Zavier Ramirez with 19, and Augustine Ene with 15. The varsity record is
now 10-10 overall and 1-2 in district. The freshman and JV games were canceled
due to the weather, and all 3 teams will play at Proper on Tuesday night.

The Creekview Varsity Boys’ basketball team went on the road
at state-ranked Little Elm and got off to a rough start that multiplied into a
86-45 defeat. Leading scorers for the Mustangs were Augustine Ene with 18
points and Nate Bady with 12. The varsity record is now 9-10 overall and 0-2 in
district.
The
JV boys lost to Little Elm 65-51. Tony
Owens scored 14 and Jonathan Campbell had 13. The JV overall record is 5-7 and
0-2 in district.

freshman Mustangs were victorious against by a score of 64-53. The freshmen
were led in scoring by Taylor Everett with 14 and Christian Gonzalez with
18 points. The freshmen are 7-3 overall and 1-1 in district play. All
three teams will be at home Friday vs. Lake Dallas.
