All three Creekview Boys’ Basketball teams went on the road
for the first time this year and each team came away with a big victory. In the
varsity game, the Mustangs started slow but pulled away in the end for a 65-39
victory. Leading the varsity in scoring was Augustine Ene with 27 points. Nate
Bady added 11 while both D’Emrik Bradford-Thomas and Tyriek Rivers scored 7.
The win improves the varsity record to 2-0.
In the
JV game, Creekview won by a score of 55-30. Outstanding players were Jarien
Arnold, Luke McPherson, and Camron Burnett. The JV also starts the season with
a 2-0 record.
In the
freshman game, the Mustangs dominated Seagoville with a 50-27 win, improving
their record to 2-0. Christian Gonzalez led the team in scoring with 15 points.
The JV and freshmen teams are off until November 29th at
Rockwall-Heath, while the varsity will compete in the Frisco Lone Star
Tournament on Monday and Tuesday next week.
