Varsity Splits Two in First Day of Lone Star Tournament
The Creekview Varsity Boys’ basketball team
competed in the Frisco Lone Star Tournament today and split two games. In the
first game against the host school Lone Star, shots weren’t falling for the
Mustangs in a 46-35 loss. Leading the team in scoring was Augustine Ene with 19
points. In the second game, Creekview bounced back with a 70-64 win over Mesquite
Horn. Leading scorer was Dorian Stratford with 23 points. Nate Bady and
Augustine Ene added 10, while Zavier Ramirez scored 9. The varsity record is
now 3-1. The Mustangs will conclude the tournament tomorrow with games at 11:00
against Frisco Heritage and 3:30 against Lubbock Trinity Christian.
