CFB Classic 2nd Round Results

The Creekview Mustang Boys’ Varsity basketball team gave a valiant effort tonight at home against the Hebron Hawks, the state’s 6^th ranked 6A team in the second round of the 2014 CFB ISD Classic. However, a shot at the buzzer by the Mustangs failed to fall, and Hebron won by a final score of 55-52. Leading scorers were DeAndre Abram with 22 points and Desmond Funches with 11. The varsity record now stands at 5-2. The Mustangs will conclude the tournament tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 against Forney at Newman Smith High School.
