The Creekview Mustang varsity boys basketball team continued
district play with a 49-23 win over Thomas Jefferson. Leading scorers were
Micaiah Livingston with 10 points and Augustine Ene with 9. The win improves
the varsity overall record to 10-7 on the season and 3-0 in district play.
The JV
Mustangs won by a score of 49-39 over Jefferson. Jarien Arnold scored 22 points
to lead the JV, while Bill Diop added 8. The JV overall record now stands at 4-11
and 2-1 in district.
The
freshman basketball team completed the sweep with a 35-8 win. Leading scorer
was Darrick Dillon with 11 points. The freshman district record is now 2-0. All
three teams play at home on Tuesday versus Woodrow Wilson in the annual Coaches’
vs. Cancer game.
