All three Creekview Boys’ basketball teams opened the season
with victories over North Dallas. In the varsity game, the Mustangs started
slow but kicked it in to high gear with an eventual 76-47 win. Leading scorer
was Augustine Ene with 24 points. Also scoring in double figures were Ben Long
with 12 points and Zavier Ramirez with 11.
The JV Mustangs started the season out with a 64-51 win over North Dallas.
Leading scorers for the Mustangs were Jarien Arnold with 12 points and Tony
Owens with 10.
The freshman team opened the season with a 59-39 victory. The
freshmen were led by Christian Gonzalez with 10 and Jack Parker with 9 and
there were a host of other Mustangs that chipped in for the win. All three
teams are 1-0 on the season and will play at Seagoville next Friday.
