The Creekview varsity boys’ basketball team went on the road
at The Colony to open district and suffered a tough 52-46 loss. Leading scorers
for the Mustangs were Nate Bady with 17 points, and Dorian Stratford and
Augustine Ene with 11 each. The varsity is now 8-6 overall and 0-1 in district.
The varsity is off until next Tuesday, December 27th at the Allen
Tournament.
The JV
Mustangs opened district with a 55-52 loss to The Colony. Playing well for the
JV were Tony Owens, Jarien Arnold, and Bo’Mari Bell. The JV overall record is
now 5-7 and 0-1 in district.
The
freshman boys basketball team fell to The Colony by a score of 56-44. The freshmen
were led by Christian Gonzalez with 9 points and Renzo Benitez with 8. The freshmen
are now 6-3 overall and 0-1 in district play. The JV and freshman teams are off
until January 3rd at Little Elm.
