The Creekview Boys’ Basketball team gave the 10th-ranked
team in the state all it could handle but ended up on the short end of a 57-51
loss to Highland Park. Leading scorers for the Mustangs were DeAndre Abram with
17 points and Ranjit Mason with 12. The Creekview record is now 5-10 overall
and 1-2 in district.
In the
JV game, Creekview lost by a score of 57-40. Leading scorer was Keimone Davis
with 18 points. The JV record is now 4-8 overall and 1-2 in district.
The
freshman Mustangs continued their winning ways with a 49-35 win over Highland
Park. Adrian Munoz led the Mustangs with 16 points and Augustine Ene had 13. Their
record is now 10-2 and 3-0 in district.
